This year marks my fifth time attending, and it's special because I'm reconnecting with my best friend, Eli, after years of silence. Our first festival together was in 2016, and now, eight years later, we have a second chance to make things right. As we prepare for this event, I feel a mix of excitement and unease. Interstellium

Before the beginning of time there was only pulse.

A steady hum, a continued pace,

a constant push through outer space.

In its thumping, a rhythm fights

to bring to life a single light.

A single star is born bouncing along in perfect time, Rhythmos. Shining his light, maintaining his flow, and keeping pace of the universe in order. Moving through space at continued space his roots could never grow. Pushing forward to survive left him lonely and cold as his warmth painted the skies for others.

Disruption and chaos was brewing along the path. Rhythmos, keeping pace as he always did, approaches the storm determined to push through. Steady he clears the clouds, and nothing would ever be the same. Flash of light, thunder clouds, a lush rainforest shredding in the winds. The wind screams

Long ago they were lovers and they produced beautiful mu sic through the rhythm and bass of the cosmos. Their love birthed Interstellium. When the cosmos caught wind of Interstellium they wanted to harness it's power to create more dimensions, but Rhythmos and Basara didn't want their love world corrupted by greed and lust for power. They embedded their powers of Peace, Love, Unity, Respect, and Responsibility into 5 demigods. These demigods embody the magic of Interstellium and grant power to it's inhabitants. In order to protect Interstellium, Rhythmos and Basara needed to make the ultimate sacrifice. Rhythmos bound himself to the sun, and Basara bound herself to the moon to orbit Interstellium in harmony to create a force field. The eclipse strenghtens the bond and keeps out the looming corruption of the cosmos.

Kingdoms

A once united empire, splintered but never broken, remains intwined by the threads of rhythm and bass, a common love for the flow, and the endless party that is ever growing. What will it take to keep the kingdoms from breaking apart?

  • The Realm of Thunderbass is a kingdom ruled by the deep, resonant vibrations and the raw power of sound. The ground trembles with every beat, and the air is thick with the hum of synthesizers and drum machines. THE Realms of Thunderbass

  • Wobble Hollow

    Wobble Hollow is the holy sanctuary of the Wubz and Dubz. This kingdom emphasizes the pull to the Earth, the interconnectivity of the vibrations that unify us, and the deep rush of a bass drop to the bones.

  • Subterra

    Subterra is a gritty underground realm with resonant caverns and pulsating beats that echo through the tunnels. There is much more than meets the eye underground. The heart and backbeat of the bass resides in these caverns when you take a deeper look.

  • A futuristic digital landscape with glowing blue and orange circuits, waterfalls, and a bright explosion or star in the sky, resembling a sci-fi or cybernetic environment.

    Breakbeat Barrens

    The Breakbeat Barrens are a fast paced, rhythmic terrain. Watch your step and keep the vibes moving through the current. It may catch you off guard. Its the fastest way between kingdoms if you can handle the Crystal Streams to Euphoria Stargate.

    Thunderdome

    Thunderdome is a formidable region known for its pounding beats and unyielding rhythms. It's a domain of fierce warriors and relentless dancers who thrive on the high BPM and the raw, unfiltered energy of the bass.

The Realms of the eternal Pulse

    Groove Grove

    Groove Grove is central and integral to the stability of the kingdoms and unity with Thunderbass. Many of us begin our journey here until kinship calls us to our true home. It is the rhythm genesis, the true boots and cats.

    Dreamscape Dominion

    Dreamscape Dominion is an expansive, otherworldly realm where time does not exist, the atmosphere is filled with ethereal soundscapes, and serene melodies lull the body into pure tranquility. Quiet, yet all consuming.
